On July 22, the turbos blew on my ‘01 Audi A6, making it worthless since the replacement of the turbo was worth more than the car. This left me in a situation no one who loved a car wants to be in, saying goodbye.

But after a period of mourning…and being driven to work by my parents, Helga was replaced by Ulrich, a ‘12 Audi Q5 on August 11.

Both are special in their own ways. Helga and I went through a lot, and she got me through college. Together we had too many adventures to count, burned many cars off the line, and impressed numerous people, even in her later years. Ulrich is the first car I have purchased with my own money. Although we have not been together for long, I look forward to what the future holds.
